Hlabisa Calls for Political Tolerance Following Killing of IFP Councillor Candidates

‎IFP leader Velenkosini Hlabisa has called for political tolerance and an end to political violence following the deaths of two councillor candidates from his party.

‎Hlabisa condemned the killings and urged law-enforcement authorities to act swiftly to identify, arrest and prosecute those responsible.

‎The IFP leader emphasised the importance of political tolerance, particularly as South Africa prepares for another period of heightened political activity. He stressed that political differences must never be resolved through violence or intimidation.

‎Hlabisa called on the police to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
