AfriForum Calls for Pemmy Majodina’s Dismissal After Community Outburst

‎AfriForum has called for the dismissal of Water and Sanitation Minister Pemmy Majodina following an alleged outburst directed at a community member.

‎The organisation says Majodina’s conduct is unacceptable for a Cabinet minister, particularly amid ongoing water challenges facing communities.

‎AfriForum accused Majodina of being incompetent in dealing with water crises and urged members of the public to demand her removal from office.

‎The organisation further called on Members of Parliament who have condemned the minister’s alleged conduct to lodge a complaint with the Public Protector in terms of the Executive Members’ Ethics Act 82 of 1998.

‎AfriForum says such a complaint would allow the matter to be formally investigated and determine whether Majodina’s conduct breached the ethical standards expected of executive members.
